Chairman and CEO Ira G. Boots Named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2009 Award Winner in Midwest Region

Evansville, IN, June 30, 2009 - Berry Plastics Corporation, an Apollo Management, L.P. and Graham Partners portfolio company, today announced that Ira G. Boots, Chairman and CEO, received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2009 Award in the Private Equity/Venture Capital Backed category in the Midwest region. According to Ernst & Young LLP, the award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic, growing businesses. Ira G. Boots was selected by an independent panel of judges, and the award was presented at a gala event at the Hilton Chicago Hotel on Friday, June 26, 2009.
