New York (September 20, 2006) - Berry Plastics Group, Inc., an affiliate of the private equity firms Apollo Management, L.P. and Graham Partners today completed their previously announced acquisition of BPC Holding Corporation (parent of Berry Plastics Corporation) from Goldman Sachs Capital Partners and JPMorgan Partners. Mr. Ira Boots will remain President and Chief Executive Officer and the existing senior management team will continue to lead Berry Plastics.
